I am a licensed cosmetologist working at 3:16 Salon & Spa in Sumter, South Carolina. I consider myself very lucky to have such a fun and creative career! My chair is a place where my creativity blends with my customer service skills to ensure an excellent and personalized experience for each guest. Whether I'm meticulously hand painting a beautiful blonde balayage, artistically crafting a one of a kind rainbow masterpiece, or precision styling a formal updo, my focus is always on creating something beautiful that achieves a specific vision for my client.
Because of the diversity of my craft, I never find myself bored! There is no job too large or too small. I offer haircuts, hand painted balayage/ombre colors, traditional foil highlights, gray coverage color services, bold and beautiful rainbow masterpieces, color melts, corrective color, customized hair treatments, formal styling, and make up artistry. There is no "one size fits all" in the world of beauty, so each service is custom tailored to fit your needs.
Self proclaimed "hair nerd", I am just as fascinated with the science behind my craft as I am passionate about the aesthetics. I dedicate a large portion of my time to studying cosmetic chemistry and doing my own experiments and research in the salon. I am constantly furthering my education to improve my technical skills as well as gathering information to stay current on the best products in my industry. I support products and companies that I wholeheartedly believe in.
I believe that as a professional in this industry, part of my job is to share my knowledge with you. I want my clients to understand the process of achieving their dream hair and leave my chair educated on how to maintain their services, style their hair, shop for products, etc. I also enjoy connecting with other stylists and have a passion for educating and helping the brothers & sisters of my craft.
In my time away from the salon, you'll often find me pursuing my other artistic hobbies. I enjoy photography, painting, drawing, and graphic design. I love to express myself by creating visually appealing things whether my canvas is a person, a piece of paper, or a computer screen. As a business owner, instead of outsourcing tasks, I've taken full responsibility every aspect of my business. From photographing my clients for my portfolio, designing my own business cards, running multiple social media accounts, to putting together this website, I am hands on with every task. This approach has allowed me to grow my business by creating a cohesive brand identity that is very unique and special to me.
My goals for the future are to continue improving on my craft, pursuing my dreams, educating and motivating others in my industry, and touching lives one by one behind the chair! For information on how to contact me, see the "Contact" tab at the top of this page.
