I am a licensed cosmetologist in Sumter, South Carolina. Halcyon Hair Studio is a modern and inclusive salon environment where we strive to make everyone feel at home. I consider myself an artist, and your hair is my canvas. Whether I'm meticulously foiling a blonde highlight, delicately stitching sew in extensions, or strategically crafting a one of a kind rainbow masterpiece, my focus is always on creating something beautiful to achieve your specific vision.

Self proclaimed "hair nerd", I am just as fascinated with the science behind my craft as I am passionate about the aesthetics.  I enjoy studying cosmetic chemistry and doing my own experiments and research. I am always furthering my education to improve my technical skills as well as gathering information to stay educated on the best products in my industry. I only work with products and companies that I wholeheartedly believe in.

I believe that as a beauty professional, part of my job is to share my knowledge with you. I want my clients to understand the process of achieving their dream hair and leave my chair feeling confident they can maintain those results.

To ensure the happiness of myself and my clients, I only offer services that I enjoy doing and can confidently execute. For that reason, you may not see certain services listed on my limited menu. I believe honesty and transparency is key to finding the right stylist/client relationship, so sometimes I may choose to decline a service if it goes against my professional judgement or I may refer you to another professional if I feel I am not the best fit for the job.

In my time away from the salon, you’ll often find me pursuing other creative hobbies such as painting, drawing, and design. I love animals, especially my two cats, and enjoy spending time bird watching. I’m also passionate about health and fitness, so I spend plenty of time in my home gym and the kitchen.

 My goals for the future are to continue advancing my professional skills and to keep touching lives one by one while offering personalized luxury services behind the chair at Halcyon Hair Studio.
